How much does a session cost?

Coaches set their own rates, typically ranging from $40 to $200+ per hour depending on sport, experience level, and location. You'll always see the price clearly on a coach's profile before booking — no hidden fees.

What happens after I book a session?

You'll receive a confirmation email with all the session details. The coach will also be notified and can confirm or suggest an alternative time. Payment is held securely and only released to the coach after the session is complete.

Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?

Yes. You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before the session for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to the coach's cancellation policy, which is listed on their profile.

Are coaches background checked?

Yes. All coaches on Scoutlio go through identity verification and a background check before their profile goes live. We also verify coaching credentials and certifications where applicable.

Can I book online or virtual sessions?

Absolutely. Many coaches offer video review sessions, virtual training, and film study. Filter by 'Online / Virtual' on the search page to find coaches who offer remote sessions.

How do I join Scoutlio as a coach?

Click 'Become a Coach' and complete our 4-step onboarding: build your profile, add your sport and credentials, set your availability, and submit for review. Our team verifies your profile within 1–2 business days.

How much does it cost to list my profile?

Listing your profile on Scoutlio is completely free. We charge a 15% platform fee on completed sessions — you keep 85% of every booking. There are no monthly fees or upfront costs.

When and how do I get paid?

Payments are processed automatically after each completed session and deposited to your bank account within 2–3 business days. You can manage your payout settings from your dashboard.

Can I set my own schedule and rates?

Yes, completely. You control your hourly rate, availability windows, minimum booking notice, and whether you accept in-person or online sessions. You can update these anytime from your dashboard.

What if an athlete cancels last minute?

You set your own cancellation policy on your profile. If an athlete cancels within your policy window, you'll receive the cancellation fee automatically. Scoutlio handles all payment disputes on your behalf.

How do I get more bookings?

Complete your profile fully — coaches with a photo, detailed bio, and verified credentials get significantly more bookings. Collecting reviews from early clients and keeping your availability up to date also helps you rank higher in search results.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Scoutlio never stores your card details. Funds are held in escrow until a session is completed.

Contact our support team within 48 hours of the session. We'll review the situation and work with both parties to resolve it fairly. In cases of misconduct, we take immediate action including removing coaches from the platform.
